Big Baniyan Tree (Ramohalli) 18 Kms from Bangalore
The famed Big Banyan tree spread over nearly four acres is located here. The tree has an awe-inspiring appearance and consists of a vertical root system forming a pleasant complex. Age of this massive tree is around four hundred year.

Banerghatta National Park (22Kms from Bangalore)
His zoological garden is spread over 25000 acres area. It consists of dense forest and scrub land becoming home for wild animals like bison, leopard, wild boar as well as being an important corridor for elephants migrating between the eastern and western ghats.

Hesaraghatta (25Kms from Bangalore)
Famed for an artificial lake, a dairy and a horticulture farm. Boating & windsurfing are the other attractions. Also here is the famous ‘Nrityagrama’ where young dancers are trained al disciplines of traditional dance.

Nandi Hills (60 Kms from Bangalore)
The beautiful Nandi Hills, popularly known as Nandi Betta or Nandi Durga for the locals and the people of Karnataka. Nandi is the bull in Sanskrit, Kannada and Telugu. He is the sacred abode or Vahana to Lord Shiva. Nandi Hills gets its name from the famous Nandi temple situated atop this hill.

Shivganga (56 Kms from Banglore)
Shivaganga town is also known as Dakshin Kashi. Two popular shrines are situated here, one dedicated to Lord Gangadeshwara and another to Goddess Honnadevi.

Savandurga
These hills are one of the largest monolith hills in India. The hills boast of housing a variety of flora and fauna. Surrounded by dry deciduous forests. The hills are also home to various endangered fauna species like Sloth bears, Leopards, Yellow-throated Bulbuls etc. It comprise of mainly two hills - namely Karigudda, the black hill and Billigudda, the white hill. At the base of the hills, there exist two temples, the Savandi Veerabhadreshwara Swamy temple and Narasimha Swamy temple.

Innovative Film City (50 Kms from Banglore)
A long ride to visit to Innovative Film City is worth doing. Its worth spending one day here as there’s lot to see. The Mirror Maze and Go Karting zone top veryones list and the Dinosaur Park is quite interesting. It omprises of Funplex for the latest in video games and the food-court next to it. A film production complex and school are ion plan to be built very soon.
