Introduction

Madhya Pradesh, often called the "Heart of India" is a state located in the central India. This historical land shares its boundaries with Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Rajasthan. Climate

Summer
(March to June) The summers are hot and humid , the mean maximum temperature goes up to around 42.5oC in MP. May is hotter than June when moisture-laden clouds arrive and bring down the temperature considerably.

Monsoon
(July to October) Madhya Pradesh gets maximum rainfall from June to September.

Winter
(November to February) Due to their distance from the sea, the Northern Plains have an extreme climate. If they are extremely hot in summer, they are equally cold in winter.
