Introduction
Australia is the world's largest island and smallest continent. It has a diversity in climate, flora and fauna that is extraordinary. Its landscape is ancient but its written history is short. Australia's cities are very young by world standards. But they have a lot to offer to both inhabitants and visitors. Its landscape ranges from desert and bushland in the central areas, to rainforest in the North, to snowfields in the South East.
